Florence 1 Schools remains committed to the safety of all of our students and staff. For the upcoming school year, the district is introducing Navigate 360, a visitor management system that will enhance security while also streamlining the sign-in and sign-out process at schools.
Beginning the 2026-2027 school year, anyone signing students in late or signing them out early during the school day must present a valid photo ID. Additionally, anyone picking up from the Extended Day Program (afterschool) will be required to present a valid photo ID to staff at pickup.
How the Navigate 360 system works
When arriving at the school, ring the doorbell as you normally would.
Once inside the building, use the Navigate 360 self-serve kiosk to select your reason for visiting the school and scan your photo ID.
Before a student is released, Navigate 360 will confirm that the person signing the student out is listed in PowerSchool as having pickup authorization. The front office staff will then complete the sign-in or sign-out process.
Parents or guardians requesting changes to student information in PowerSchool must present a government-issued ID and complete and sign a form at their student’s school. After ID verification, front office staff will process the requested updates. Changes involving guardianship, custody, or other restrictions will continue to require the appropriate supporting documentation.
Florence 1 Schools thanks families for their support as the district implements Navigate 360 as an additional tool for maintaining safe and secure learning environments across its campuses.
