LAKE VIEW - The Branchville volleyball team took a 3-1 win at Lake View on Monday to win the South Carolina High School League Class A Lower State title.

T&D REGION SPORTS: Branchville and O-W volleyball get playoff wins

The Yellow Jackets won with set scores of 25-13, 25-14, 24-26 and 25-18.

Branchville (30-13-2 record) advances to Saturday's state championship match at 10 a.m. at River Bluff High School in Lexington.

FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL: Branchville, OP and AJA get wins

The Yellow Jackets will play High Point Academy from Spartanburg. The Lady Grizzlies also won a road match to advance to the state title match, taking a 3-2 win at Governor's School for Science and Mathematics in Hartsville on Monday.
