Both Orangeburg Prep and Calhoun Academy held their football jamborees on their respective home fields Friday night.

Teams played two quarters of football preparing for season-opening matchups either next week, in Week Zero (Aug. 23), or the following week, in Week One (Aug. 30).

In the OP Jamboree, the Indians picked up back-to-back wins against Colleton Prep, 21-7, and Branchville, 15-8.

Branchville and Colleton Prep open the season playing each other this coming Friday in Week Zero. Orangeburg Prep will be on the road for a "game type" scrimmage this coming Thursday at Bethesda (Ga.) at 6 p.m. Orangeburg Prep will open its regular season on Friday, Aug. 30 at Greenwood Christian.

In St. Matthews, at the CA Jamboree, quarterback Seth Tyson ended the Cavaliers' opening drive with a touchdown run and Evan Inabinet carried in the conversion, as CA won 8-6 against the Providence Athletic Club team.

In earlier action, Clarendon Hall topped Palmetto Christian 47-0 and Northside Christian topped Cathedral Christian 12-0.
