SUMTER - Orangeburg Prep defeated Carolina Academy 54-42 Friday night at the Baron Classic at Wilson Hall. 

Timothy Junious led the Indians with 15 points, Benjamin Davis added 14, and A.J. Tolbert had 10 points.

The Indians improved to 5-2, while Carolina Academy fell to 3-2. 

The Indians play Augusta Christian in the second round of the Baron Classic at 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Edisto 74

Cross 25

CORDOVA – The Edisto Cougars defeated the Cross Trojans with a score of 74-25 Friday. Edisto improves to 5-0.

Leading the Cougars were Dawn Muller with 18 points, Rayquan Ryant with 12 points, and Xavier Spinks with 10 points.

Top scorer for the Trojans was Ashton H. with 12 points.

Edisto will play at Bamberg-Ehrhardt on Tuesday.

Dorchester Academy 47

Holly Hill Academy 30

HOLLY HILL – Dorchester Academy took the win over Holly Hill Academy with a score of 47-30 on Friday.

Chase Way led the Raiders with 14 points, while Colby Weeks had 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Holly Hill was led by Ben Johnson with 5 points.

Dorchester moved to 3-1 (2-0) on the season and will travel to Jefferson Davis on Tuesday.

Holly Hill Academy will play at Calhoun Academy at 8 p.m. Friday. 

Denmark-Olar 72

Bamberg-Ehrhardt 57

DENMARK – Denmark-Olar defeated Bamberg-Ehrhardt 72 – 57 Friday night.

Leading the Vikings were Malik Palmer with 21 points, Kevin Middleton with 13 points, Harold Johnson with 17 points, and Tony Nimmons with 10 points.

Denmark-Olar will travel to Branchville to play the Yellow Jackets 6:30 p.m. Monday. 

Calhoun County 58

Woodland High 55

BYRD – Calhoun County defeated Woodland High with a score of 58-55 Friday.

Leading the Saints were Anthony Mack with 17 points and R. Brunson, Jr. with 10 points.

Leading Woodland was Taurean Singletary with 15 points, London Shannon with 12 points, and Michael Shuler with 9 points.

Calhoun County will play host to Allendale-Fairfax at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.

SANTEE - The Bruinettes got a road win against Lake Marion on Friday, moving their record to 3-2.

O-W will play host to Keenan on Saturday at 6 p.m.

SUMTER - Orangeburg Prep is participating in the Baron Classic at Wilson Hall. OPS defeated Carolina Academy 33-22.

Leading the Indians was Marlee Robinson with 9 points while Cierra Banks and Bailey Livingston each had 6. Banks also pulled down 7 rebounds. Leading Carolina Academy was Grace Weaver with 13 points.

Orangeburg Prep will take on Augusta Christian at Wilson Hall School 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Cross 33

CORDOVA - Edisto defeated Cross with a score of 44–33 on Friday.

Leading the Lady Cougars were Geneva Bovain with 21 points, DaShyra Mack with 7 points, and Marquasia Frazier, 6 points.

Cross leading scorer was Sahara Moore with 10 points.

Edisto will play at Bamberg-Ehrhardt on Tuesday.

Dorchester Academy 71

Holly Hill Academy 24

HOLLY HILL - The Dorchester Lady Raiders improved their record to 4-1(1-1) on the season by defeating Holly Hill with score of 71-24. 

Lydia Hofstetter and Freshman Vivian Weather's each had 13 points in the win.

Leading for Holly Hill was Brooke Fennessey with 18 points.

Dorchester travels to Jefferson Davis for another region matchup Tuesday, December 11.

Holly Hill Academy will play at Calhoun Academy Friday, December 14.

North High 50

Columbia High 36

COLUMBIA – The North High Eagles defeated Columbia High with a score of 50-36 on Friday night.

Leading the Lady Eagles were Jessmen Darby with 27 points, and Ziniya Tettus with 12.

The North Lady Eagles (2-3) will play at Pelion 1 p.m. on Saturday.



Dorchester Academy 60

Holly Hill Academy 10

HOLLY HILL - The Dorchester Raiders moved to 3-0 on the season after defeating Holly Hill with a score of 60 - 10. 

Ben Singletary had 14 points, 8 rebounds; and Connor Hartzog added 11 points. 

Holly Hill was led by Nasir Trent with 8 points.

Dorchester plays at Jefferson Davis Tuesday night.

Holly Hill Academy will play at Calhoun Academy 5:15 p.m. Friday.

HOLLY HILL – Dorchester Academy wins over Holly Hill Academy with a score of 34–13.

Abigail led the DA Raiders with 13 points and 14 rebounds, while Abigail Holmes and Anna Catherine Sossebee added 6 points each. 

The JV Raiders move to 3-1 on the season and will travel to Jefferson Davis Academy on Tuesday night.

Holly Hill Academy will play at Calhoun Academy next Friday at 4 p.m.
