CORDOVA – The Cougars picked up a Region 5-3A win at home on Tuesday, getting a team-high 19 points from Franklin Winds.

RayQuan Ryant added 7 points for Edisto (13-2 record), while Chris Grant added 6 points.

Strom Thurmond was led by Robert Whitt with 16 points and Jamarvious Jones with 12 points.

Edisto plays again on Friday at Pelion at 7:30 p.m.

The Bruins got 17 points from Frank Lee to take a Region 4-4A win at home on Tuesday.

O-W (13-3 record) also got 13 points from John Paul White and 8 points from Devin Green. The Bruins outscored the visitors 18-7 in the second quarter, setting up a 31-19 lead at the half, marking the same 12-point advantage they won by.

The Gators were led by Juwan Perdue, a Jacksonville State signee, who scored 14 points, and Quentin Hodge who added 12 points.

The Bruins play host to Dreher on Friday at home at 7:30 p.m.

WALTERBORO – The Saints (14-0 record) remained unbeaten with Tuesday's road win at Colleton Prep.

Clarendon Hall was led by Kade Elliott's 15 points and 8 rebounds, Kylic Horton's 12 points, Zyan Gilmore's 9 points and 7 assists, and Traveon Davis' 9 points.

Clarendon Hall will play host to Holly Hill Academy on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

The Orangeburg Prep Indians won their first region contest of the year on Tuesday night with a score of 58-47 against Wilson Hall.

Benjamin Davis led the Indians (8-4 overall, 1-0) with 22 points, while Timothy Junious had 14 points, and Will Shaw had 11 points.

Grant DeVarona had 22 points for the Barons (3-6, 0-1).

The Indians travel to Bethune-Bowman to play on Thursday.

Desmond Murray led the Blue Devils with 23 points, 16 rebounds and 4 blocked shots.

Denmark-Olar plays at Ridge Spring-Monetta on Friday.

NORTH – Literyian Tyler led the way with a double-double of 29 points and 14 rebounds for the host Eagles on Tuesday, but it still resulted in a loss.

Geneva Bovain had a game-high 25 points to lead Edisto, while MarQuasia Frazier added 12 points and DayShyra Mack added 6 points.

For Strom Thurmond, Jonelle Brown had 23 points.

The Lady Cougars play at Pelion on Friday at 6 p.m.

The Indians were led by Charlotte Laird with 6 points.
