The Lady Raiders were handed their first loss of the season Tuesday night in Walterboro, dropping their region opener by a single point to Colleton Prep.
Leading scorers for DA was Elizabeth Huff with 20 points and Savanna Varn with 11 points.
The Lady Raiders were up 2, when Meredith Ware from CPA hit a 3-point shot with just seconds left on the clock.
The Raiders fell to 2-1 (0-1) and will play again Thursday night when they host Calhoun Academy in a non-region contest, before traveling to Holly Hill Academy Friday night for their second region game of the season.

SUMMERTON - Clarendon Hall fell to Andrew Jackson by a score of 41-31 on Tuesday.
Whitney Avins led the Lady Saints with 9 points. Hannah Johndrow and Sarah Henning had 7 points apiece, while McKenzie Bagnal pulled in 9 rebounds.
Clarendon Hall plays again on Friday in Moncks Corner at St. John's Christian at 6 p.m.

MANNING - The Saints moved to 1-1 on the season with a road loss to the Monarchs on Wednesday.
Ethan Tullock led Calhoun County with 15 points.
The Saints play again on Friday at Woodland at 7:30 p.m.
NEESES - The Trojans took a win at home on Wednesday, led by Marlow Gilmore's 20 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists.
Irek Hartwell added 22 points, 3 steals and 5 rebounds, while Britt Stokes added 14 points.
Russell Branch Jr. scored 17 points to lead the Warhorses.
HKT (4-0 record) plays at Bamberg-Ehrhardt on Saturday.

The Raiders knocked off Colleton Prep on Tuesday to get their first win of the season, moving to 1-1 (1-0) on the season.
The Raiders were led by Chase Way with 28 points and Rhett Mizzell with 13 points and 10 rebounds.
DA will be back in action Thursday night hosting Calhoun Academy for a game, before traveling to Holly Hill Academy to play Friday night.

SUMMERTON - On Tuesday in Summerton, Clarendon Hall ran its varsity boys basketball record to 3-0 on the season with a region victory over Andrew Jackson Academy by a score of 78-66.
Kylic Horton paced the Saints with 27 points and 5 rebounds. Traveon Davis finished with 20 points and Tyrese Mitchum finished with 15 points. Zyan Gilmore led the Saints in rebounding with 8 boards.
The Saints will travel to Moncks Corner on Friday to take on St. John's Christian.
