ST. GEORGE - The Raiders took one of their only leads of the game late and held on in overtime to get the victory on Thursday.

Chase Way led DA with 21 points, while Colby Weeks added 8 points.

The Raiders moved to 2-1 (1-0) and will travel to Holly Hill Academy Friday night for their second region game.

ST. GEORGE - The Lady Raiders of DA picked up a home win on Thursday.

Elizabeth Huff led the Lady Raiders with 14 points while Lydia Hofstetter added 12 points. Dorchester moved to 3-1 (0-1 in the region) and plays at Holly Hill Academy Friday night in a region matchup.

The visiting team from Calhoun Academy was led by Bari Arden Arant with 15 points.

CA plays host to Robert E. Lee Academy on Monday at 6 p.m.

The Raiders travel to play at Holly Hill Academy on Friday night.

ST. GEORGE - The JV Lady Raiders of DA posted a 29-11 home win against the Lady Cavaliers on Thursday.

Leading scorers for the JV Lady Raiders were Abigail Weathers with 19 points, 10 rebounds and Shala Guess with 6 points and 5 steals.

DA moved to 2-1 on the season and plays at Holly Hill Academy on Friday night.

Sara Grace Kizer scored 7 points and Reagan Kizer added 4 points for CA.

CA will play host to Robert E. Lee Academy on Monday at 4 p.m.

Leading the JV Raiders was Hunter Hartzog with 10 points, 8 steals and Ben Singletary with 9 points.

DA (2-0) plays at Holly Hill Academy Friday night.

Orangeburg Prep hosted William J Clark for a game on Thursday, with the visitors winning by a 30-19 score.

Leading Orangeburg Prep was Lauryn Williams with 10 points and Ashby Garrick with 7 points.

OP will play at Clark on Monday in their next game.

DENMARK - The Denmark Tech Panthers took an 81-76 home conference win against Spartanburg Methodist on Wednesday.

DTC was led by Jarvis Martin with 13 points and 5 rebounds, Bobby McFadden with 19 points and 6 rebounds, Nigel with 16 points and 4 assists, D.J. with 13 points, 2 assists and a steal, and Marcus with 10 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds.

The Panthers play host to Richard Bland College at 7 p.m. on Sunday.
