Kevin “Butch” Crosby, coach of the powerhouse Bamberg-Ehrhardt football program, will be the new football coach at Orangeburg-Wilkinson.

Crosby and Orangeburg Consolidated School District 5 made the announcement on Wednesday.

Crosby begins duties immediately at O-W with offseason workouts to start within days. He plans to bring some assistants from B-E with him to O-W.

Crosby has coached at B-E for 10 years, a decade that saw the Red Raiders play in three state championship games.

He succeeds Tommy Brown at O-W.
