A day after gaining a commitment from five-star defensive end Myles Murphy, the Tigers continued their recruiting hot-streak--as they gained a commitment from three-star running back Kobe Pryor.
The 5-foot-10, 200-pound back from Cedar Springs, GA had a top-six of Auburn, Clemson, Georgia, LSU, South Carolina and Georgia Tech.
Per 247Sports’ Composite ranking, Pryor is the #745 overall recruit in the country for the Class of 2020. He is a top-60 running back nationally and one of the top 75 recruits in the state of Georgia.
Despite only being ranked a three-star by 247Sports, Pryor has been one of the most sought after prospects in the entire nation - let alone Georgia - over the past six months. He has earned more than 20 scholarship offers in total.
The Tigers took the lead for Pryor's services following a visit with Dabo Swinney during Clemson's massive Junior Day.
“Clemson, like all the other schools I have visited, is a really nice campus," Pryor said. "On visits they will sell you on their campus, but as nice as their campus is, my relationship with running backs coach Tony Elliot matters more to me.
"I have a ton of love in my heart for their coaches and just everything about them."
