COLUMBIA -- South Carolina has its opening weekend rotation set.
The Gamecocks named Ridge Chapman their Sunday starter, filling in the last remaining spot.
Friday's starter will be Adam Hill with Cody Morris getting the start Saturday.
Hill, who's started on the weekend for the majority of his time in Columbia, opened 14 games last year and had a 3.04 ERA with 87 strikeouts.
Morris was primarily the midweek starter, getting the nod in 10 games, but did have a few spot starts in SEC play. He finished with a 3-2 record and a 3.66 ERA.
Head coach Mark Kingston called him a "dominator" in spring scrimmages.
Chapman is the lone newcomer to the rotation, transferring in this season from Spartanburg Methodist College.
He had a solid spring and earned the nod over another newcomer, Logan Chapman. In the 2016-17 season at SMC, Ridge had a 2.84 ERA in 13 starts.
Opening day is Friday against VMI, with first pitch at 4 p.m.
Saturday's game is at noon with Sunday's finale scheduled for 1:30 p.m.
