NORFOLK, Va. — The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference announced the 2019 Commissioner’s All-Academic Team, presented by GEICO.

SC STATE BASKETBALL: Riley returning for final season

A total of 1,169 student-athletes from the conference’s 12 member institutions achieved considerable academic success during the spring 2018 and fall 2018 semesters.

The team honors student-athletes, including sophomores to seniors, with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better.

“I am excited to congratulate the 1,169 student-athletes who have maintained a 3.0 or better grade point average during this academic school year,” said Commissioner Dennis E. Thomas. “I would like to commend the administrators, athletic academic support personnel, coaches, institutions, and parents for their contributions to the academic success of these student-athletes.”
