Four men, including two with shotguns, robbed a convenience store early Tuesday morning, according to an Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office incident report.

Deputies responded to a call at 4:28 a.m. from a clerk at E-Z Shop #11 at 3294 Charleston Highway in Orangeburg.

The clerk told deputies that a masked man entered the business armed with a shotgun and demanded that she lay face down on the floor.

All she could see were the gunman’s white sneakers.

He took $125 and left on foot.

She told deputies she heard at least two additional voices in the store during the robbery.

Once the manager arrived at the store, deputies viewed the surveillance video.

It showed four people entering the business. Two of them were holding shotguns while wearing gloves and masks.

The video showed one of the gunmen behind the counter pointing the weapon at the clerk while the other gunman went around the counter and took the cash register drawer.

The other two suspects stole candy and potato chips, dumping it into bags.

If anyone has any information about this case, they are asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 803-534-3550 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
