The Regional Medical Center Foundation has postponed its 11th annual Pink Ribbon Luncheon because of the inclement weather conditions.
The RMC Foundation had initially planned to hold the luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, at The Cinema. The event has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 13, at the same time and place.
"Due to the adverse road conditions and in concern for the safety of our patrons, we have rescheduled the Pink Ribbon Luncheon for Tuesday, Oct. 13," RMC Foundation Director Margaret Frierson said.
Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. Emory Austin, a 30-year breast cancer survivor, will remain the keynote speaker.
"We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause, and thank you for your understanding. Please continue to pray for our city and state leaders, law enforcement and first responders, and all those affected by this weather incident," Frierson said.
