The person killed in Friday’s crash on Interstate 26 has been identified as a Georgia man.
Sebastian Carazas, 19, of Saddlehorn Lane, Guyton, died of blunt force and thermal injuries due to the collision, according to the Orangeburg County Coroner’s Office.

A 2006 Ford Ranger was traveling east near mile marker 147 when it ran off the left side of the road, overturned, struck the median and caught on fire, according to S.C. Highway Patrol Trooper First Class Tyler Tidwell.
Carazas, who was wearing a seatbelt, died on the scene. He was the only one in the vehicle.
The S.C. Highway Patrol continues to investigate.
