An Orangeburg resident won $125,000 in the S.C. Education Lottery, according to a release from the lottery commission.

“Just happiness,” the winner said. The winner was not identified by the lottery commission.

The prize was won after scratching the $5 instant ticket $125,000 Bonus Play.

Two top prizes of $125,000 remain in the $125,000 Bonus Play game, at odds of 1 in 750,000.

For selling the claimed ticket, Quick Pantry #37 located on Five Chop Road in Orangeburg received a commission of $1,250.
