One person went to the hospital with injuries on Monday after a collision involving an Orangeburg County Disabilities and Special Needs Board van and another vehicle.

The 2019 Ford Econoline van and a 2007 Chevrolet Impala crashed around 4:42 p.m. at the corner of Cannon Bridge Road and Glover Street, according to S.C. Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Tyler Tidwell.

Orangeburg County Emergency Medical Services transported an individual from the Impala to the hospital.

The OCDSNB bus had one passenger who was not injured.

Both vehicles were eventually towed from the scene, Tidwell said.

Tidwell said additional details of the accident were not immediately available.
