ORANGEBURG -- Odom J. Elders, 81, of Orangeburg, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2019. He was the husband of Elaine King Elders.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019, at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home, 3379 Columbia Road, Orangeburg, with the Rev. Joshua O. Elders officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16.
Odom was the former owner of Odom's Alignment, which his wife and son still operate, since 1983. He was a member of the House of Refuge UPCI Church. He loved drag racing and was a member of IHRA.

Survivors include his wife of 61 years; five children, including a son, Tim O. Elders (Melody), and four daughters, Diane Bresler (Gary), Janet Elders, Glynda Stephenson and Ronda Gabbard (Larry Kinard); 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a special cousin, Pauline Elders.
