LEXINGTON -- Michael Leroy Jeffcoat, 72, died early Saturday morning at Agape Hospice House after an extended illness.
The memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at Fogle-Hungerpiller Funeral Home of Elloree. Burial is private. The Rev. Larry Williams is officiating.
Mr. Jeffcoat was born Dec. 1, 1946, in Orangeburg. He was the son of the late Leroy and Naomi Kinsey Jeffcoat. He was a graduate of Orangeburg High School and was employed as a salesman for Orangeburg Distributors until retirement. Mr. Jeffcoat also served in the National Guard for seven years.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Nancy H. Jeffcoat of Lexington; three sons, Michael Jeffcoat Jr. (Shellie) of Aiken, Jack Jeffcoat of Lexington, and Jason Jeffcoat (Lauren) of Elloree; four daughters, Amy Timberlake, Taylors, Kathy J. Marko, Lexington, Trisha Fleeman (Greg), Lexington, and Julie Rollinson (Kyle), Elloree; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Larry Jeffcoat (Jeanette), Orangeburg, and Randy Jeffcoat, Ravenel.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Lisa Jeffcoat Evans.
