ORANGEBURG -- Janiece Collins Sanford, 86, of Orangeburg, passed away Sept. 9, 2019. She was the wife of J. Leonard Sanford.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019, at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry French officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 11 a.m., one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Tom Ulmer, Archie Barr, Jeff Sanford, Jimmy Miller, David Stewart, Dodd Stewart, Shane Cleveland, and Jason Doremus.
Janiece was born in Barnwell County, daughter of the late Brabham Collins and the late Louise Black Collins. She was a graduate of Orangeburg High School and Limestone College and a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years of the home; one sister, Peggy Smoak (Gerald) of Cordova; one brother, B. N. Collins Jr. of Orangeburg; five nieces, Darlene and Melody Smoak of Cordova, Linda Weaver of Orangeburg, and Faye Nixon and Karen Sanford, both of Columbia; and two nephews, Jeff Sanford of Sumter and Jimmy Miller of Columbia. She was predeceased by her daughter, Deronda Ann Sanford.
