SWANSEA -- Jackson LaBrian Lucas, 22, of Swansea, passed away July 4, 2019.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, July 7, 2019, at Dukes-Harley Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. "Coach" Zachary Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Jackson was born in Columbia, son of Brian Lucas and Faree' Ann Jackson Lucas. He was a graduate of Swansea High School, Class of 2015, where he was an outstanding baseball player. He was a student at USC in Columbia, studying Criminal Justice, and worked with his father in the family business, JBL, Inc. Jackson loved his sports, hunting and fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his mother and father; brother, Drayton Lucas; maternal grandmother, Mary Ann Smith Jackson; paternal grandmother, Ann Neese; uncle, J. W. Jackson Jr. (Jackie) and sons, Jentry and Jace Jackson; godmother, Tonya Parcell (Tony) and sons, Turner and Cody Parcell; and his beloved Lab, Woody. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, J. W. "Sonny" Jackson and Charles LaBrien Lucas.
