New America, a non-profit organization, is offering a financial assistance program for small business owners.

The program, known as the Business Individual Development Account, is a special matched savings account designed to help prospective business owners establish a pattern of regular saving so they will be able to use the accumulated funds and match money provided through the program toward a small business.

The IDA Program is one of several initiatives New America offers to the Orangeburg community. The organization specializes in business development, affordable housing and education.
