A teenage girl told a school resource officer on Monday that someone sexually assaulted her at a graduation party held at a Neeses Highway home between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. Sunday, according to a sheriff’s office incident report.

The school’s assistant principal notified the girl’s parents, who then transported her from the school to the Regional Medical Center.

The case remains under investigation.

In a separate incident, a site manager at Don’s Car Crushing, located on White Sands Road near Holly Hill, reported Monday that someone stole a gray van.

He noted that someone has stolen several items from the site on at least four different occasions within the past two weeks.

The van is valued at $3,000.

A 32-year-old Orangeburg man was charged with indecent exposure at Wash House, a laundry business on Chestnut Street, according to a police incident report.

The man was putting on his clothes next to a vehicle when officers arrived at 6:30 p.m. Monday, the report said.

Multiple witnesses said they watched the man pull his pants down around his ankles, exposing himself.

He allegedly attempted to also steal someone’s electronic tablet by placing it down his pants, but was unsuccessful.
