Investigators are seeking two suspects in the theft of jewelry worth thousands of dollars from Walmart last month, according to Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell.
“Walmart personnel reported these two individuals as having forced open a jewelry case and multiple items,” the sheriff said. “We have been given photos that depict the couple in question.”
Ravenell said that around 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 26, the couple entered the North Road store on the grocery side of the business.
Security personnel said the couple went to the jewelry section where the male forced open a display. He then allegedly placed items into the woman’s opened purse.
The two are described as a white female with brown hair wearing jeans and a pink top while the bearded male is seen wearing a ball cap, dark jacket, blue jeans and eyeglasses.
If anyone has any information on the two, they are asked to call the sheriff’s office at 803-534-3550 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC. All callers can remain anonymous.
