A Eutawville man received a 90-day jail sentence after pleading guilty to the charge of shoplifting enhancement on July 29 before Circuit Judge Thomas Russo.

According to his indictment, Daniel Lee Ross, 38, of 140 Haskwar Drive, Eutawville, allegedly stole steaks and knives from an IGA grocery store on July 17, 2018.

Ross has at least three previous property crime convictions on his record.

Russo sentenced him to 90 days at the Orangeburg County Detention Center, but credited him for having already served 97 days there.

  • Marquel Henry Scott, 26, of 142 Dunning Road, Orangeburg, pleaded guilty to first-offense possession with intent to distribute eutylone.

Russo sentenced him to three years in prison, provided that after he served two days, the balance of the sentence would be suspended to 18 months of probation.

He credited Scott for having already served two days at the OCDC.

He also ordered Scott to complete 40 hours of public service employment and undergo random drug/alcohol testing.

As part of his plea agreement, prosecutors dismissed the charges of unlawful carrying of a pistol and possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a violent felony.

  • Donte Terrance Tyler, 23, of 959 Nance St., Orangeburg, pleaded guilty to first-offense possession of cocaine.

Russo sentenced him to 60 days at the OCDC or to pay a $200 fine by November 1.

  • Morris Lambright Jr., 23, of 945 Glover St., Orangeburg, pleaded guilty to first-offense possession of less than one gram of crack cocaine.

Russo sentenced him under the Youthful Offender Act not to exceed three years, provided that upon the service of three days, the balance of the sentence will be suspended to 18 months of probation.

Russo credited him for having already served three days at the OCDC.

He also ordered Lambright to complete substance abuse counseling and undergo random drug/alcohol testing.

  • Desmond Jamall Bowman, 25, of 475 Jamison Ave., Orangeburg, pleaded guilty to first-offense possession of molly and unlawful carrying of a handgun.

Russo sentenced him to six months in prison, provided that after he serves two days, the remainder of the sentence will be suspended to 18 months of probation.

He credited Bowman for having already served two days at the OCDC.

Russo also ordered him to complete substance abuse counseling and undergo random drug/alcohol testing.

  • Vashaun Christopher Lee Morgan, 28, of 1008 White Horse Road, Apt. Q7, Greenville, pleaded guilty to first-offense failure to stop for blue light and first-offense driving under suspension.

Russo sentenced him to 90 days at the OCDC, crediting him for having already served three days there.

He’s also allowing Morgan to serve his jail time on consecutive weekends.

  • Kendall Tyron Dickson, 20, of 4379 Charleston Highway, Orangeburg, pleaded guilty to unlawful carrying of a handgun.

Russo sentenced him to 60 days at the OCDC or to pay a fine of $50 by November 1.

He credited Dickson for having already served two days at the OCDC.

Orangeburg County men guilty of burglary
  • Angela Lynette Gunter, 40, of 2601 River Ridge Courtn, Unit C, Moncks Corner, pleaded guilty to first-offense possession of methamphetamine.

Russo sentenced her to 18 months in prison, provided that after she serves two days at the OCDC, the remainder of her sentence will be suspended to 18 months of probation.

Russo credited her for having already served two days at the OCDC.

He also ordered her to complete substance abuse counseling and undergo random drug/alcohol testing.

As part of her plea agreement, prosecutors dismissed the charge of unlawful carrying of a pistol.

  • Vandy Way, 54, of 308 Main St., North, pleaded guilty to forgery valued less than $10,000.

Russo sentenced him to two days at the OCDC and credited him for having already served two days there.

  • Angela Renee Baxter, 39, of 144 Franklin St., Orangeburg, pleaded guilty to two counts of financial transaction card fraud valued at $500 or less during a six month period.

Russo sentenced her to one year in prison, suspended to five years of probation.

He also ordered her to pay restitution and undergo random drug/alcohol testing.

  • Brian Paul Waddell, 31, of 2753 Shillings Bridge Road, Orangeburg, pleaded guilty to first-offense possession of cocaine.

Russo sentenced him to 60 days at the OCDC or pay a $100 fine by October 1.

He credited Waddell for having already served two days at the OCDC.

  • Shemika Shonta Wolfe, 30, of 111 Bruce St., Orangeburg, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident causing property damage and first-offense driving under the influence.

Russo sentenced her to 60 days at the OCDC or pay a $400 fine by November 1.

  • Tyrone Wilson Odoms Jr., 29, of 124 Lakehia Lane, Orangeburg, pleaded guilty to first-offense failure to stop for blue lights.

Russo sentenced him to 18 months in prison, provided that upon the service of 137 days, his sentence will be suspended to 18 months of probation.

Russo credited him for having already served 137 days at the OCDC.

He also ordered Odoms to undergo random drug/alcohol testing.
