An Orangeburg man is being sought in connection with a weekend shooting that sent one person to the hospital, Sheriff Leroy Ravenell announced Tuesday.
“We have obtained a warrant on a Mr. Bobby Miller,” Ravenell said. “He is being sought on an attempted murder charge.”
Miller, 40, of Cue Street, is believed to have been involved in a shooting incident on Saturday in which a man suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body.
Orangeburg County Sheriff’s investigators were informed of the incident just after 1 p.m.
A Fuller Street woman acquainted with the shooting victim said he came to her door asking to be taken to the hospital.
The woman said she had no information on the shooting.
Ravenell said investigators were able to determine the shooting victim and Miller were in an argument prior to the shooting.
If anyone has any information on Miller’s whereabouts, they are asked to call the sheriff’s office at 803-534-3550 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC. Callers can remain anonymous.
