An Old Edisto Drive homeowner reported a burglary Wednesday night.

When she returned home, she noticed that it was in disarray and that her rear sliding glass door was open. She’d left it unsecured, the incident report states.

She reported the following items were missing: a 50-inch Vizio flatscreen smart television, a 42-inch flatscreen smart television, a blue Dean Dime guitar with a white lightning bolt design and a virtual reality headset.

The items are valued at $1,548.

In a separate incident, a Neeses man is facing four counts of receiving stolen goods after several stolen tractor batteries and copper wire showed up for sale at Sunshine Recycling, according to arrest warrants.

He’s charged with three counts of receiving stolen goods valued at $2,000 or less and one count of receiving stolen goods valued more than $2,000 but less than $10,000.

All four charges are misdemeanors.
