Following are guilty pleas from Orangeburg County General Sessions Court:

  • James Rivers, 46 of 1375 Virginia Road, Orangeburg, pleaded guilty to second-degree non-violent burglary and second-degree assault and battery.

Circuit Judge Ed Dickson sentenced him to 10 years in prison, suspended to five years of probation.

Dickson also ordered him to pay restitution.

  • Tyrese Jordan Gleaton, 18, of 620 Doyle St., Orangeburg, pleaded guilty to second-degree assault and battery.

Dickson sentenced him under the Youthful Offender Act not to exceed three years, suspended to one year of probation.

The judge ordered him to obtain his GED and not to have any contact with the victim.

  • Jaleel Malik Kelley, 26, of 371 Waters Edge Road, Orangeburg, pleaded guilty to unlawful carrying of a handgun.

Dickson sentenced him to one year in prison, suspended to one year of probation.

  • Matthew Thompson Jr., 51, of 519 Heeseman Ave., Holly Hill, pleaded guilty to shoplifting with enhancement.

Dickson sentenced him to time served.

An indictment states that Thompson shoplifted an 18-pack of beer from a Holly Hill gas station.

  • Frances Elizabeth Huntley, 48, of 145 Eldorado Lane, Vance, pleaded guilty to unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

Dickson sentenced her to two years in prison, suspended to six months of probation.

An indictment states that Huntley possessed a 2013 John Deere tractor that belonged to someone else. 

  • Anthony Wilson, 31, of 1385 Ashley River Road, Charleston, pleaded guilty to first-offense possession of a controlled substance.

Dickson sentenced him to time served.

  • Selina Denise Young, 47, of 2880 Darby St., Orangeburg, pleaded guilty to first-offense driving under the influence.

Dickson sentenced her to 30 days at the Orangeburg County Detention Center or to complete 48 hours of public service employment.

Young was originally charged with second-offense driving under the influence.

  • Ryan Earl Risher, 31, of 711 Banbury Dr., Branchville, pleaded guilty to petit larceny and use of vehicle without consent.

Dickson sentenced him to time served of 166 days at the OCDC.

  • Takeela Queenee McAllister, 34 of 2844 Bamberg Road, Orangeburg, pleaded guilty to third-offense possession of less than one gram of methamphetamine, possession of Colonazepam and second or subsequent offense possession of Buprenorphine.

Dickson sentenced her to five years in prison, suspended to five years of probation.

He credited McAllister with having already served 70 days at the OCDC.

Dickson stipulated that she must complete an outpatient drug treatment program or an inpatient drug treatment program if recommended.
