One adult and five children were inside of a Holly Hill home when someone opened fire on it on Sunday around 8:30 p.m.
None of them was injured.
The Branchdale Highway homeowner called deputies at 8:36 p.m.
He told deputies that he was inside of his bedroom sleeping when one of his grandchildren came into his bedroom yelling that someone was shooting at the home.
Two of the grandchildren told deputies that they heard a knock at the door and then they heard gunshots.
Deputies spoke with two other grandchildren who said that they heard approximately five gunshots.

Deputies also made contact with the children’s father. He told deputies he wasn’t on the scene, but said all of the children are his, the report states.
Deputies noticed four bullet holes in the front of the residence.
Each of the bullet holes was on the right side of the front, the report states.
One of the bullets traveled through the wall and damaged a 24-inch flat screen television and another bullet struck a picture on the living room wall.
Deputies weren’t able to locate any shell casings at the scene.
According to the incident report, the case is administratively closed.
