The Orangeburg Department of Public Safety is seeking a Myrtle Beach woman in connection with the death of a 68-year-old Orangeburg man on Sunday, Feb. 10.

ODPS Director Mike Adams said Tyekiva Harvin, 18, is considered armed and dangerous. A warrant accuses her of murder.

Adams said Harvin also goes by the aliases of “Ty” and “Paris Miller.”

Officials believe Harvin struck Bobby Huggins with a hammer and that an unidentified man shot him with a handgun.

If anyone knows Harvin’s whereabouts, they are asked to call 911 and not engage her, Adams said.

Adams said he believes Harvin is no longer in the Orangeburg area, but she has connections to Florence, Sumter and Myrtle Beach.

She does not have a vehicle and is likely hitching rides, ODPS Capt. Alfred Alexander said.
