A Vance man is missing a gun and CPAP breathing machine after someone stole the items from his unlocked truck.

The Old Number Six Highway man called deputies to his home on Tuesday morning.

He discovered the items were missing when he went to leave for work.

He didn’t know the serial number for his silver and black Smith & Wesson 9 mm, so authorities weren’t able to list it in a national database of stolen property.

The value of the stolen items is $550.

In an unrelated incident, an Orangeburg man reported Tuesday morning that someone stole the outside air conditioning unit from his Norway Road residence while he was on vacation.

It is valued at $4,000.

A Fletcher Street woman reported Monday morning that her home was burglarized.

Several items were missing: an Apple iPad, a Bluetooth speaker, a Bebe watch, a MCM black and white belt with a gold belt buckle, a red MSM bag, a pair of platinum size 6 Jordan sneakers, a pair of Air Force One size 6 sneakers, a pair of Nike Air Space Jam edition size 6 sneakers, a pair of size 7 Martens sneakers and another pair of sneakers without description.

The value of the stolen items is $1,800.
