A home and vehicle were damaged when someone opened fire in Eutawville early Tuesday morning, according to an incident report.

A woman called deputies at 4:59 a.m., nearly an hour after she heard multiple gunshots fired outside of her home.

One bullet damaged the windshield of a 2007 Pontiac and another bullet went through a front window of the home on Saginaw Drive.

Two bullet holes were found on the exterior of the home, but didn’t go through it, the report states.

A man who lives at the residence told deputies that he saw a black Honda or Nissan sedan in the area when he heard the gunshots.

Deputies recovered one brass 9mm caliber shell casing and two steel 9mm shell casings in the roadway near the incident location.

Deputies also located a projectile on the floor of the residence near the kitchen, where the bullet went through the front window.

No one was injured.

Deputies are patrolling the area.
