A Cope man called deputies at 3:37 p.m. Wednesday to report that his dachshund and several tools went missing at some point over the past two to three weeks.

He reported that the following items were stolen from his shed: a black Campbell Household 13-20 gallon compressor, a black Blackhawk socket set, a Black & Decker grinder, a silver Stihl saw and a Black & Decker sawhorse. A red and tan dachshund was also stolen.

The items are valued at $900.

In another burglary report, a Calvary Church Road man called deputies to his Neeses home at 8:03 a.m. Tuesday just moments after he discovered the following tools missing from his workshop: a Honda generator, a Generac generator, a customized weed cutter and a Craftsman riding lawnmower. The items are valued at $2,100.
