Investigators are seeking information on a vehicle seen near a residence that was fired on multiple times, Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said Friday.
“We’re looking for any information that may lead us to who was in this vehicle,” Ravenell said. “They may have important information on the shooting by having seen something.”
A Kings Road resident reported at about 4 a.m. Sunday, May 19 that someone was shooting at her home.
At first she thought someone was knocking on a door. She then realized bullets were striking her home.
Investigators found where bullets shattered a glass door and pockmarked the front of the residence.
At least thirteen 40-caliber shell casings were located in a nearby roadway.
Five residents, including two juveniles, were in bed inside the home at the time of the shooting. No one was injured.
If anyone has any information on the vehicle or its occupants, they are asked to call the sheriff’s office at 803-534-3550 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
