The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office and Midlands Crimestoppers need your help identifying the man captured on video surveillance allegedly using fraudulent checks to purchase items at various Lowe’s and Walmart locations in the Midlands area.

The suspect used several stolen bank account and routing numbers to generate the fraudulent checks.

These incidents occurred between Feb. 1 and July 9.

The suspect is described as a black male operating a light-colored SUV with custom rims and low-profile wheels.

Anyone with information on the crime is asked to report it to Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC. Information can be reported anonymously.

A tip could earn a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for this crime.
