Both the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office and Orangeburg Department of Public Safety will offer opportunities for children, families and citizens to meet them this evening at their annual National Night Out events.

Beginning at 5:30 p.m., the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office will set up at the Prince of Orange Mall, located at 2390 Chestnut Street. The event there will end at 9 p.m.

Over at Sunnyside Park, located at Henley and Gibson Streets, in Orangeburg, the Orangeburg Department of Public Safety will offer bounce houses, waterslides, free ice cream cones, free food and live music.

The event there begins at 6 p.m. and ends at 8:30 p.m.

Both events are free and open to the public.
