BAMBERG - The skies were gloomy but the rain held off as residents enjoyed mild temperatures for Saturday's annual Bamberg County Christmas Parade.
There’s something special about small town parades. The parade participants exuded a friendly cheerfulness that radiated into the crowd. While it rained right before the procession began, people still showed up to support their community.
The young ladies of Mary Jane’s School of Dance were "pretty in pink," providing one of the bright spots of the morning.
Also bringing energy to the parade were members of the Bamberg Job Corps Center as well as the members of the Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School Marching Band.
There were also floats proclaiming the reason for the season, a vast array of emergency vehicles and Santa, of course.
