Caroline Dorothy Ott of Rowesville, S.C. and Travis Dalton Baccene of Chapin, S.C., were united in marriage on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at the Orangeburg Country Club in Orangeburg, S.C.
The bride is the daughter of John and Cindy Ott of Rowesville. She is the granddaughter of Mary Kim Dean and the late Larry B. Pollard; and the late F. Mitchell and Dorothy Funchess Ott.
The bridegroom is the son of Brent Baccene and Shirley Toole Simpson. He is the grandson of Earl and Henrietta Toole; and the late Karl and Linda Baccene. The ceremony was officiated by Allan Fogle, the groom’s uncle.
Maid of honor was Kimberly Isabelle Ott of Orangeburg. Bridesmaids were Hannah Jane Dean of Columbia, S.C.; Mollie Wiles of Rowesville; Olivia Dean of Columbia; and Caitlyn Kelly of Greenville, S.C.
Best man was Brent Baccene, the groom’s father. Groomsmen were Andrew Colvin of Charleston, S.C., Rob Fogle of Hillsborough, N.C., John Funchess Ott, Jr. of Greenville, S.C., and Chantz Elliott of Chapin, S.C.
Flower girls were Ginny Ott of Branchville, S.C., and Rylan Fogle of Hillsborough, N.C.
Ring bearers were Mitch Ott of Branchville, S.C., and Robert Fogle of Hillsborough, N.C.
The bride graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education. She is employed by Green Charter School in Greenville, S.C.
The groom is employed at Palmetto Gold and Silver in Columbia, and attended Savannah School of Art and Design. He is completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Game Art from Full Sail University.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Orangeburg Country Club. After the wedding, the couple took a seven day cruise, stopping at ports in the Bahamas, Mexico and Honduras. The couple will reside in Greenville, S.C.
