Calhoun County millage rate

The story “Calhoun solar project advancing,” which appeared on Wednesday’s page A1, incorrectly said that Calhoun County’s millage rate is going down. It will actually increase 1.5 mills.

Calhoun County Finance Director Denise Christmas said millage went up a half-mill for the county and 1 mill for the school district.

The total millage in the Sandy Run area will be 265.5 and within the Rural Fire District it will be 268.5.
