Branchville Police Chief Randy Clark has requested the S.C. Law Enforcement Division investigate the death of 38-year-old Sharon Renee Coker Rose.

Rose died at her home on Feb. 18.

Clark is calling her death “suspicious,” saying that she had a “bruise on her head and a black eye” at the time of her death.

Orangeburg County Chief Deputy Coroner Sean Fogle said on Wednesday, “There is no information at this time concerning the death of Ms. Rose. The case is pending further studies.”
