The Clemson Cooperative Extension 4-H will be offering a Healthy Habits Cooking Camp program from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 17-20, 2019.
Healthy Habits Cooking Camp is a program for children ages 9-14. The four-day camp will be held on the campus of South Carolina State University in Staley Hall.
Participants will learn how to prepare meals that are healthy, simple, and taste good. Recipes will be demonstrated, and participants will have the opportunity to help prepare and taste recipes from four different countries. Participants will also learn up-to-date information on nutrition, meal planning and cooking techniques.

The Childhood Obesity issue with its accompanying problems of diabetes and other diet-related disorders, can only be reversed by leading our children back into the kitchen and showing them how easy it can be to prepare healthful, tasty meals.
The Healthy Habits Cooking Camp is sponsored by Clemson Cooperative Extension 4-H with partial funding provided by the Walmart Foundation.
