The Downtown Orangeburg Revitalization Association will hold its third annual Taste of the Market: A Farm to Table Dinner Experience, presented by Fogle’s Piggly Wiggly.
The event will be held Thursday, June 6, and deliver a locally sourced meal in the middle of downtown Orangeburg’s Historic District.
Tickets are $75 per person and include beer and wine, dinner and entertainment. The option to reserve a group table of eight is also available this year for an additional $20 fee.
Proceeds will support the Downtown Orangeburg Farmers’ Market. The meal itself will be a full four-course dinner, prepared by Dupre Catering.
Aside from providing a historic dining experience in the heart of downtown Orangeburg, the farm-to-table dinner will raise operating capital for the Downtown Market Pavilion project. The project is well underway, and the construction company handling the project will break ground and begin work during the month of May.
