The Orangeburg-Calhoun Baptist Sunday School Extravaganza was held June 22 at St. John Baptist Church in Cameron. The Rev. Henry Capers is the pastor and the Rev. Kenneth Carson was the moderator.

Churches including Antioch Baptist Church, Bull Swamp Baptist Church, First Baptist Church, Lovely Hill Baptist Church and Mt. Carmel Baptist Church were represented by “Kings” and “Queens” for the Little Miss/Mr. Morris College program.

Mount Pisgah Baptist Church to celebrate 165th anniversary

The church raising the highest amount of money was crowned Miss/Mr. Morris College. Zion Ke'Warie Daniels of Antioch Baptist Church from Bowman was crowned Mr. Morris College. More than $6,000 was collected at the event.
