Joshua 1:8 (KJV) says, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
Success is predictable (affirmed), it's written. God had given man an assignment, even before he was a living being. “Then God said, "Let the waters teem with fish and other life, and let the skies be filled with birds of every kind. So God created great sea creatures, and every sort of fish and every kind of bird.”
Everything in life was designed to have purpose and success, birds to fly, fish to swim and man to have dominion (power and authority like Christ). Everything God created had a seed built into it for success; it was God's plan. Jeremiah 29:11 TLB) says, “For I know the plan I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
You cannot fail!! God made sure that your purpose would be successful: “And we know that all that happens to us is working for our good if we love God and are fitted into His plans” (Romans 8:28 TLB).
Here we see, already in six days, God had completed what He wanted man to have dominion over. Reading the following scriptures in The Living Bible, Psalm 90;2, Isaiah 45:5, Isaiah 46:9, Revelation 1:8 and Revelation 22:13, we can summarize that Jehovah is God and there is none like Him, and He had set the end before the beginning. His purpose will stand. It wasn't until Genesis 2:7 TLB, when God created man to oversee the activities of the earth: “The time came when the Lord formed a man's body from the dust of the ground and breathed into it the breath of life. Then man became a living being.” God created man with the purpose to succeed in being godly in the earth (to rule and reign).
God intended man to have dominion to oversee the activities on earth with power to rule, control, govern, manage and lead. God had built inside of man everything he needed for success in his assignment, “For as you know him better, he will give you, through his great power, everything you need for living a truly good life: he even shares his own glory and his own goodness with us! And by that same mighty power, he has given us all the other rich and wonderful blessings he promised” (2 Peter 1:3-4 TLB).
God had given man everything he needed to be a success, and even gave him love with obedient power to defeat the enemy. God had given man then and now everything he needs to be extraordinary, to rule with power and authority through the Way, the Truth and the Life - Jesus Christ.
