Chassidy Claire Nettles and Jacob Isaiah Stroman were united in marriage at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at the Elks Lodge #0897 in Orangeburg, S.C.
The bride is the daughter of the late Mr. Clyde Dale Nettles and the late Ms. Carmen Cecilia Spires of Cordova, S.C. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Joyce Nettles and the late Mr. Tim Nettles.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan (Kathie) Stroman of Orangeburg. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joe (Nancy) Stroman of Orangeburg; the late Mr. And Mrs. Elwood (Maxine) Cobb of Charlotte.
Pastor Dan Stroman officiated the ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her grandmother, Ms. Joyce Nettles and her son, Carson Shuler.
Maid of honor was Danielle Franklin of Summerville.
Matron of honor was Skyler Russell of Jacksonville.
Bridesmaids were Kristen Nettles of Orangeburg; Corie Nettles of Lexington, S.C. and Casey Bair of Orangeburg.
Best man was Richard Carson Shuler, son of the bride and groom, of Cordova.
Groomsmen were Tybee Stroman of Orangeburg; Daniel Stroman of Orangeburg; Yuri Davis of Summerville; Jarrett Nettles of Lexington, S.C. and Nicholas Griffith of Orangeburg.
Ring bearer was Cruz Alexander Shuler, son of the bride and groom, of Cordova.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Elks Lodge.
After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, TN, the couple will reside in Cordova.
Mrs. Stroman attended Edisto High School and will attend OCTech in the fall. She is currently employed by Southern Paws Pet Lodge in Orangeburg.
Mr. Stroman is a graduate of AJA and OCTech. He is currently employed by Hungerpiller Farms in Cameron.
