The South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities presents the 2017 Share the Music Tour concert, featuring some of our state’s most talented music students. Each fall, the Governor’s School’s Music Department goes on tour to different parts of the state to "share the music" by performing in schools and providing a free evening concert for the public. The Orangeburg community is invited to hear a wide range of musical works performed by the Governor’s School’s Concertato String Orchestra, Cantus Chamber Choir, Musical Theatre Ensemble, Piano Ensembles and Wind Ensemble. This event is presented by the KEMET Corporation and the Governor’s School for the Arts Foundation and will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17, at Claflin University's W.V. Middleton Fine Arts Center.
