COLUMBIA -- Pine Gate Renewables is coming to Clarendon County with the commencement of Bonefish Solar LLC.
Bonefish Solar will produce 2.8 megawatts of energy, equating to powering roughly 500 homes, removing 79 vehicles from the road and 131 tons of waste recycled instead of landfilled annually.
“We’ve worked hard to diversify South Carolina’s growing economy, and that includes supporting the renewable and sustainable energy industry,” Secretary of Commerce Bobby Hitt said. “Pine Gate Renewables is blazing a trail in the state, and I look forward to watching them succeed here for many years to come.”
