Barbara Elizabeth “Barkley” Stoudenmire and Ryan Thornbrew McNair were united in marriage August 10, 2019. The Reverend Doctor Carl Francis Martin Jr., uncle of the bride and The Reverend Doctor Gordon Reed officiated the six o’clock ceremony at Pine Grove Lutheran Church in Cameron, S.C.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Franklin Stoudenmire of Lone Star, S.C. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Daniel Stoudenmire of Lone Star, S.C. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Francis Martin of Elloree, S.C. The bride is a 2010 graduate of Orangeburg Preparatory Schools and a 2013 graduate of The University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Barkley is employed by Orangeburg Preparatory School as a kindergarten teacher.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Bruce McNair of Gable, S.C. He is the grandson of Mrs. Anne Tuttle McNair and the late Mr. John Carroll McNair of Gable, S.C. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Lavon Thornbrew of Sardinia, S.C. He is a 2011 graduate of Laurence Manning Academy and a 2015 graduate of Clemson University with a business degree in Economics. He is employed by Coastal AgroBusiness as a sales representative.
Maid of Honor was Kayla Alexis Mims of Charlotte, N.C., friend of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Doctor Hallie McNair DuBose of Alcolu, S.C., sister of the groom, Lauren Rebecca Martin of Bluffton, S.C., cousin of the bride, Katherine Ann Edwards of Greenville, S.C., Rebecca Lyn Helms of Columbia, S.C., Margaret Elizabeth Martin of Greenville, S.C., and Alexandra Ford Reid of Orangeburg, S.C., all friends of the bride.

William Bruce McNair of Gable, S.C., father of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Blake Francis Martin Brown of Holly Hill, S.C., cousin of the bride, Steven Lyle DuBose of Alcolu, S.C., brother-in-law of the groom, William Robert McNair of Union S.C., cousin of the groom, Charles Franklin Stoudenmire Jr. of Lone Star, S.C., brother of the bride, Adrian Player Chappell of Greenville, S.C., and Kevin Bradley Newman Jr. of Sumter, S.C., friends of the groom.
The ring bearers were cousins of the bride Robert Beckett Brown, William Marvin Brown III and nephew of the bride and groom Capers William DuBose.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. Music was provided by Kathy Gatlin, organist and pianist, and Cindy McKeowen, vocalist. A reception followed at the home of the bride.
Following the honeymoon, Mr. and Mrs. McNair will reside in Lone Star, S.C.
