The Orangeburg Prep girls basketball team won its home-opener Thursday on the school's newly-installed floor, taking a 61-50 win against Pelion.
Leading the way for the Lady Indians was Marlee Robinson with 12 points, Madison Garrick with 11 points, Alyson Hay with 10 points, and Reagan Merritt with 9 points.
Whitney Craft led all scorers with 20 points for the Lady Panthers.
OPS plays next on Friday, hosting Dorchester Academy at 6 p.m.

DA lost its season opener on Thursday, despite getting 14 points from Elizabeth Huff and 6 points from Savanna Shelton.
Leading scorers for the Lady Raiders were Elizabeth Huff with 14 points and Savanna Shelton with 6.
The Lady Raiders return to action on Friday at Orangeburg Prep at 6 p.m.

HOLLY HILL - Holly Hill Academy dropped its third straight game with a home loss to Thomas Heyward on Thursday.
HHA was led by Brooke Fennessy with 8 points, Laura Singletary with 8 points and 8 rebounds, and Tara Bilton with 5 points.
THA was led by Ivy Bryan with a game-high 16 points.
The Lady Raiders are 0-3 and play next on Monday at home against Calhoun Academy at 6 p.m.

OPS lost to Pelion on Thursday in the home opener, despite getting 20 points from Benjamin Davis and 17 points from Ian Scott.
The Indians (0-2) play again on Friday at home against Dorchester at 7:30 p.m.

DA took a 57-43 win against Colleton Prep on Thursday in the season opener, as the Raiders were led by Colby Weeks with 16 points and Chase Way with 15 points.

The OPS JV Lady Indians posted a 34-7 win at home against Pelion on Thursday.
Leading scorer for OPS was Campbell Delaney with 12 points.

HOLLY HILL - Thomas Heyward took a 42-26 win at Holly Hill Academy on Thursday, led by Gracie Wade with a game-high 16 points.
HHA (0-2) was led by Madison Steele with 11 points, Leigh Anna Johnson with 6 points and Dakota Canterbury with 5 points.
The JV Lady Raiders will play host to Calhoun Academy on Monday at 4 p.m.

H-K-T took a 45-37 win against Felton Lab on Wednesday, getting 13 points apiece from L. Gilmore and Z. Gleaton, while M. Workman added 10 points.
The Trojans (2-0) play next at home against Elloree on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Jabari Gaffney scored 6 points to lead Howard to a 28-24 win against Clark on Wednesday.
J. Robbins led Clark with 8 points.
