North Augusta 98
NORTH AUGUSTA - Camry James scored a team-high 18 points for the Trojans on Wednesday but they lost, 98-67, to host North Augusta in the first night of the Savannah River Shootout at North Augusta High School.
Marlow Gilmore added 16 points for H-K-T, while Irek Hartwell added 14 points.
North Augusta got 21 points from Tez Collins, 19 points from Russell Felton and 17 points from Bryson Mazone in the win.
The Trojans (5-3 record) will continue play in the tournament on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. against Thomson (Ga.).

Bill Metts had a game-high 22 points, 7 rebounds and 6 steals to lead the Indians in a 66-55 home win against Andrew Jackson on Wednesday.
Also for OPS, Benjamin Davis had 16 points and 5 assists, Camron Ellis had 8 points, Ian Scott had 9 points and 4 steals, and Will Shaw had 3 points and 7 steals.
The Indians (6-4) play Calhoun Academy on Thursday, Dec. 28 in the opening round of the Orangeburg Prep Holiday Tournament.

Lake Marion 21
NORTH AUGUSTA - Antwanique Walley scored 9 points, but was the only Lady Gators player to record more than a single field goal in Wednesday's first-round loss to host North Augusta in the Savannah River Shootout.
Lake Marion (6-4 record) plays on Thursday in the tournament against Lakewood at 1 p.m.

Orangeburg Prep won a home game against Andrew Jackson on Wednesday, 55-11.
Cierra Banks and Marlee Robinson each scored 12 points apiece to lead the Lady Indians. Madison Garrick added 8 points and Joanna Hinds and Bailey Livingston each contributed 6 points.
OPS (6-4 record) will play host to Clarendon Hall on Thursday, Dec. 28 in the Orangeburg Prep Holiday Tournament.

The OPS JV Lady Indians remained undefeated (7-0 record) with a home win against Andrew Jackson Academy on Wednesday.
Leading OPS was Campbell Delaney with 20 points and 11 steals. Cate Fogle chipped in 10 points and Ryn Grubbs added six points.
The JV Lady Indians will be back in action hosting the Orangeburg Prep Holiday Tournament on Friday, Dec. 29.
