NESSES -- Hunter-Kinard-Tyler picked up a 68-55 win over Ridge Spring-Monetta on Tuesday.

Marlow Gilmore led the way for the Trojans with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Denearious Sapp had 16 points, seven rebounds and two steals; Camry James had 14 points and eight rebounds; Trentez James got 12 points, seven assists and three steals, and Irek Hartwell had 10 points and two steals.

HKT (9-8, 7-1) will travel to North on Friday.

SUMMERTON - The Mohawks took a region win on the road Tuesday night against Scott's Branch, 61-52. The Mohawks led from start to finish as they picked up their first region win of the season.

Raekwon Richburg led the Mohawk scoring with 19 points. Braxton Wedgeworth had 17 points and 10 rebounds. Roderick Pam added 10 points and 5 assists. Javier King rounded out the balanced effort with 10 rebounds and 6 blocked shots.

Bethune-Bowman returns to action Friday night with a road region contest at Branchville at 7:30 p.m.

Chris Grant led the Cougars with 12 points. Ray and Jay Ryant each scored 11 points.

The Cougars will travel to Swansea on Friday.

NORTH -- Denmark-Olar picked up a 64-57 win over North in overtime on Tuesday.

North was led by L. Tyler with 14 points, Javon Wise with 12 points and Hasson Frye with 10 points.

North will host Hunter-Kinard-Tyler on Friday.

LM (7-1 overall, 2-1 in Region 7-3A) will host Woodland on Saturday.
